IRU congratulates courageous Bulgarian bus crew

The Minister of Transport of the Republic of Bulgaria, Petar Mutafchiev, together with Gueorgui Petrov, President of the IRU's Bulgarian Member Association AEBTRI, today awarded the AEBTRI Prix d'Honneur to the entire crew of a Bulgarian bus in recognition of the act of courage they performed in January 2009.
The IRU joins AEBTRI and the Bulgarian Transport Minister in congratulating the two drivers, Dobrin Ivanov and Krum Krumov, as well as the stewardess, Kremena Todorava from the Bulgarian company BIOMET EOOD, for the outstanding professionalism, determination and bravery they demonstrated when bus passengers were taken hostage.
